Hypnosis is a state in which you are deeply relaxed and highly focused, which most people experience everyday, for example, when daydreaming, going for a run or watching a good movie. You will be guided into this relaxed state by listening to the sound of my voice.
Hypnosis is used to replicate your REM state (rapid eye movement) which allows you to let go of limiting befiefs, to change negative thinking and to change your life to how you want it to be!

I offer a 1 hour consultation which focuses on what you want to achieve. This also allows me to explain more about solution focused hypnotherapy and the neuroscience of the brain, an understanding which is pivotal to achieving success. During this time I can also give you a better understanding of how many sessions you are likely to need. This also gives us the opportunity to assesss if we feel comfortable and have rapport to enable us to work together effectively.
This will involve talking about the progress you have made and what is going well. We will learn helpful tools and techniques to enable you to achieve your goals and spend time focusing your thoughts in positive and effective ways. We concentrate on finding solutions to problems and creating small steps to achieve goals. During the session the client is guided into a relaxed state of hypnosis or other effective techniques are used.
